Functions

Count It has up to 6*20 = 120 customizable counters with running totals.
The hardware buttons control each counter.
Can calculate the number of counts/time which can be used in behaviour analysis or any place where you are interested in calculating a count pr. time. This is controlled by a timer with audible alarm.
Great for Lab techs, pathologists, veterinarians, vet techs, physicians or any one who needs the ability to count something without having to look away from your work.
Now you can count those cells easily.
Or how about using this at your favorite sports, keeping track of punches, passes ....

Features:

Hardware buttons:

The counters are configured to the 6 hardware buttons on the palm as shown in the screenshot.

Labels:

Each counter has a separate label associated which can be altered by the user. Just delete whatever text there is and write your own text. The labels will be saved when exiting the application.

Counters:

Pages:

Up to 120 counters can be used at one time. You can control these by setting the # of pages in preferences. This translates into 6 counters pr. page. In the upper right corner is two arrows allowing you to page thru the counterpages.

Setting Values:

Each counter can be set to a value be editing the field to that value and then tapping the Set button. Counting will  then continue from that value. All values will be saved when exiting the application.

Resetting individual counters:

Each counter can be reset by tapping the button with the 0 next to that counter.

Resetting all counters:

All counters can be reset by tapping the Reset All button. A confirmation dialogue will be displayed.

Counting:

Press the appropriate hardwarebutton to increase the counter by the value specified in Preferences.

If needed tap the undo button to go one level back. Up to 100 values can be undone.

Preferences:

In preferences it is possible to set the number where the audible alarm should sound.

Every time you pass this number a sound will play.
Example: if you enter 100 there will be a beep when passing 100, 200 ....
If you enter 0 no alarm will sound.

If you enter another number than 1 in increment, the alarm will only sound when hitting a multiplum of that number.
Example: If you enter 10 and 3 in increment The sound will only play when reaching 30 which is the first multiplum of 3 and 10.

Increment simply gives the number the counters should be incremented by. A negative number vil decrease the counters, thus giving you a countdown.

Timer minutes sets the minutes the timer should run before sounding an alarm. The Alarm will only sound if the Alarm field is checked on. This is also the value controlling the calculation of the Results/time display.

# of pages defines the number of pages with counters on. It is possible to have between 1 and 20 pages of counters.

Disable Auto-off will, if checked, disable the auto off feature while running Count It.

Show:

Tap Menu and select Show.

Results:

This will display the counters values in the normal uncalculated way. Use this if you previously have selected the Results/time and now wish to have the uncalculated results shown again.

Results/time:

This will display the counters values divided by the number of minutes set in preferences.

Example: a timer period of 2 minutes will in our example result in a calculated screen like this:

Export:

Tap Menu and select Options and Export.

This will export the current counting session to a memopad entry titled: Count It + Current date and time.
The memo will also have either Results or Results/time as a part of the title.
A new memo will be created each time in the unfiled category.

This ensures that you easily can transfer results to your desktop for inclusion in documents, spreadsheets ....

Note that the entries are separated by a seperator character thus enabling easy import into a spreadsheet as a csv file.

There exists 3 possible ways of exporting the data.

Results:

Creates a memo with the results of the counters value.

Results/time:

Creates a memo with the values calculated as results/time.

Both:

This will create 2 memos with results and results/time.
